Looking for support and advice, I took a Mama Talk class with Malik when my daughter was 2-6 weeks old. Not only was her advice invaluable in those early days when I was really doubting my abilities as a parent, but the friendships that she helped cultivate with the other new moms in the group have been long lasting and a valuable source of support as I raise my baby.
Sing & Sign With Me, Baby!
Everything’s more fun to music, and signing is no exception! Practice your familiar signs along side new vocabulary words in this musical signing class.
By coming together with other signing families you’ll stimulate your baby’s brain development and build a larger American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary through songs that use rhythm and repetition to keep the learning active. Increase all the benefits of baby signing (less frustration for you and baby, stronger language development, elevated IQ) one song at a time!
Previous signing experience not required, but families who’ve taken Intro to Baby Signing or Baby Signing classes will get the most out of this workshop.
