Once my son was two months old and I was itching to get out of the house, I decided to take Malik's Mama Talk class. She facilitated the group with such warmth and knowledge. Each unique issue that was brought up in the group was discussed in a respectful, open and often humorous way.

Malik started working with families in 2001 after having three wonderful children of her own. Hip Circle Studio fuses the things she loves into her work life. You may find her knitting with a pre-teen, dancing with a mama, or working out with a member of the Red Hat Society. Wherever you find her, you’ll see the smile that comes when she’s doing what she loves.
